When I went horseback riding
When I was 8 years old my Mum, Dad, sister, and I decided to take a road trip to Rotaroa it was our second time at Rotaroa. Since we did not get to go horseback riding for that long last time so my mum and dad said we could go I was super excited because I love horses. We had seen this farm on the internet and it looked nice so we decided to go. After that, we started driving it seemed like forever I could not stop thinking about horses.
When we arrive my dad went and paid for it, my mum, sister and I went to see the horses. Delighted to go horseback riding because horses are one of my favorite animals. Some of the horses were some miniature and others were colossal compared to the tiny ones. I chose a tall white mare her name was rose she looked really pretty but smelt like poop she was very nice and calm. After a little bit, my sister finally picked out the horse she wanted sho picked this stubby little pony with a short curly mane his name was blue boy. We were told we only could walk the horses. Which was sad because I wanted to ride really fast I wanted to gallop but we could not do that.
After picking our horses we went to put on our riding boots and helmet when we went out we saw that the horses were getting tacked up the horses were so cute I picked rose because she looked really beautiful and she was the biggest horse in the stable. My sister picked blue boy because she was a little scared and blue boy was really small.
To get on the horse we used hay bails I needed three hay bails when I sat on the horse it felt weird but I got used to it. After a minute my sister took a little longer to get on her horse because they had to move two hay bails off because blue boy was really short she finally got on the horse. Then we went out on the course. The course was really long it was all grass and hills, we got to do a whole round it was about half an hour. When we got back I was super excited then we went and took our boots and helmet off and went to wash our hands.
“I really want to come back here even though everything stinks of horse poop,” I said. This place was amazing on the way to the car we saw a really cute border collie it was really friendly we played with it for a while and the went to the car.
