This week i learnt how to stay safe in a emergency chopper.

Bubble boom experiment

Learning Intention:   W.a.l.t to conduct, observe and record experiments

Hypothesis/Prediction: (What do you think will happen?) I think that it will explode.

Equipment/Materials Needed: Vinegar Baking soda Paper towel Zip lock bag

Method/Steps: 1. Put a table spoon of baking soda inside a paper towel and fold it up into a square. This is your ‘time release’ packet. 2. Pour into your plastic bag: 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1/4 cup of warm water. 3. Carefully put the time release packet into your zip lock bag without it dropping in the vinegar before you can close the bag. 4. Close the bag. 5. Give the bag a shake.

Results (What happened?): Gas filled the bag then bubbles started to form at the bottom.Then the bag exploded.

Summary Statement/Conclusion: (Was your prediction right or wrong? Why?   What did this experiment/your results tell you? Yes my prediction was right because it did explode.It was a cemical change.

Letter to my BFF

Dear best friend in the whole wide world, Your awesome because you can imagine the most magnificent things in the world and you always invent something new. You always persevere to make new thing. I love being your assistant because you are very creative. I love spending time with you because you always tinker carefully when you invent marvellous things.

 It makes me feel sad when I see you explode when thing don't always go the way you planned it to be like. You will only make things worse for you and no one else. When you feel mad you should calm down and take a break and relax or go one a quiet,peaceful walk. Then you should try again later.

 I hope my advice helps you because I never want you to be angry because you are my BFF. From your assistant Dog.
